On todays show the occupy Missoula movement. "The 1% often caters to the rest of the 99%. So long as they are making profit." Occupy Toronto Protests image Posted by Derek Flack / October 15, 2011 Understanding a bigger picture... The 1% don't make money, they create it. This is a common misconception among the surfs. One adopts a much different view of the world when they have unlimited resources at their disposal. It is not about "making" money, it is about the control of society. Unfortunately most fail to appreciate the ultimate power that comes with the authority to "create money". 99% of the 99% really have no clue what they are up against. False solutions and compromises will be the name of the game. Until we revalue our fundamental unit of trade (the dollar) on a solid foundation the money system will always be gamed by the 3%. As I understand it 3% control 80% of the economy. Gold is a false solution. I also believe that returning the power to create money back to congress is a mistake. A thing as powerful as money is far too dangerous to leave in the hands of a few. It will always corrupt when concentrated or centralized, history is filled with endless examples. The only commodity globally accepted by everyone is an hour. An hour of my time is exactly equal in value to an hour of your time. I highly encourage people to watch the Animal Farm. It is a parody of the French Revolution. After the herds took over things kind of fell apart. There was no one left to run the shops and things kind of fell apart. Will this happen in America? History has shown that it can. It is not enough to be awake, we must also be paying attention.
